When I was 16 and still in high school, I started working as a nurse's assistant in a nursing home. Back then, nursing homes had their own nursing schools, and the state came right to the facility to test us. After I graduated, I was blessed — my mother-in-law at the time introduced me to the private sector, and that's where my journey in home health truly began.

Years later, I started NLC Healthcare — Nohemi's Loving Care — strictly through word of mouth. The advertising was my work, and the wonderful, like-minded men and women who joined me on this journey.

We come into your home and meet you where you are. We take the time to understand your lifestyle, and we come with a promise: you are the boss. We're not there to do things the way we want — we do them the way you like them done, in a safe and loving environment. We communicate openly and work every day at delivering the best quality of care — easing the struggles that come with age and helping you hold onto your independence by becoming an extension of you.
